A strong wind incident struck Entebbe International Airport on the morning of April 10, 2026, damaging a light aircraft parked on Apron 04.
The intense gusts swept through the airport’s vicinity, affecting the aircraft while it was stationary. No injuries were reported.
“Technical teams from the airport and relevant authorities are assessing the situation in close collaboration with key stakeholders to determine the extent of the damage,” the Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement.
According to preliminary reports, scheduled flight operations have not been affected, with departures and arrivals continuing as normal.
